David Drake has shared insights into his motivations for this film. “When I was growing up, my dad drove trucks from the Hunts Point Cooperative Market in the Bronx, and many of my early memories of work came from riding shotgun during the summer delivery rounds,” he remarked. “After starting a family and spending years in various jobs, I finally found my way to filmmaking. Through my writing and directing, I aim to explore the lives of working-class characters, drawing directly from my own experiences and family background.”
