Liam Gallagher Shares Easter with Brother Noel Ahead of Reunion Tour
Liam Gallagher recently revealed that he and his brother Noel spent Easter Sunday together, a notable occasion reflecting their evolving relationship. This gathering occurs just months before the highly anticipated reunion of their legendary band Oasis.
Family Bonds on Easter
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Liam shared insights into this special family gathering, which included Noel and his two sons, Donovan and Sonny. He expressed joy about the occasion, stating, “That’s why we spent Bible Easter Sunday. Noel, Donovan, and Sonny came out for tea. It was absolutely incredible to meet a young GUV. I clearly blew their minds away.”
Upcoming Oasis Reunion Tour
This Easter catch-up foreshadows the first Oasis reunion in over a decade, as the band prepares to embark on a global tour starting in July. Their last performance together was in 2009, before a public fallout that led to the band’s separation. The reunion tour will kick off with two shows in Cardiff, Wales, before moving across the UK and continuing to North America, including Toronto starting August 24th.
Tour Details
The reunion tour has already announced 41 dates, showcasing the band’s desire to reconnect with fans around the world. After North America, performances are planned in regions including Mexico City, South Korea, Japan, Australia, and South America.
A Legacy of Tension and Solo Careers
Despite the brothers’ longstanding tensions, both have enjoyed successful solo careers since the split, with Liam releasing multiple albums and Noel forming his own band, Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Birds. This reunion marks a significant moment of reconciliation and collaboration amidst their personal history.
Oasis Set List and Future Projects
Earlier this year, Liam hinted at a potential set list for the reunion during a fan interaction on social media. He suggested that classic hits such as “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Champagne Supernova,” and “Live Forever” might be included alongside other beloved tracks.
In addition, plans are in place for a documentary film chronicling the Oasis Live Tour, produced by BAFTA and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Stephen Knight, with a focus on their iconic live performances. Further details about the project are yet to be announced.
