2025 Coachella Lineup Announced: Ed Sheeran and Weezer Set to Perform
New Additions to Coachella 2025
The highly anticipated Coachella 2025 festival lineup has revealed that popular acts Ed Sheeran and Weezer will be part of this year’s performances. Both artists are slated to share the stage on the festival’s first weekend, which will occur from April 11-13 and April 18-20.
Performance Schedule
Weezer is set to perform at the Moherb Tent on Saturday afternoon from 3:10 PM to 3:55 PM. Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran will take the Mojave stage earlier in the day with a performance scheduled for 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Exciting Plans for Both Artists
Weezer’s addition to the Coachella bill coincides with the band’s celebration of the 30th anniversary of their debut album, commonly referred to as The Blue Album, released in 1994. Ed Sheeran, on the other hand, has been preparing for a busy summer filled with concerts and is set to release a new single titled Azizam from his upcoming album, Play. This song, which translates to “my loved one” in Persian, reflects the Persian heritage of producer Illya Salmanzadeh.
Lineup Changes and Festival Highlights
This lineup update comes on the heels of FKA Twigs’ withdrawal from the festival due to “ongoing visa issues” and Anitta’s cancellation due to “unexpected personal reasons.” The festival will feature prominent headliners, including Lady Gaga, Green Day, Travis Scott, and Post Malone, all gracing the main stage.
Additionally, other notable artists such as Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, and Missy Elliott will be performing, contributing to a diverse and star-studded festival experience.
