KCON LA 2025 returned to Los Angeles from August 1 to 3 with its signature blend of electrifying performances, immersive fan experiences, and dynamic cultural showcases. Hosted at the Crypto.com Arena and Los Angeles Convention Center, this year’s theme, “KLOVER’S CLUB FAIR,” symbolized joy, connection, and the diversity of K‑Pop culture.
The festival featured a powerhouse lineup of performers. Jackson Wang delivered a standout solo set on August 2, while NCT 127 headlined the Dream Stage on August 1, inviting fans to join them on stage for an interactive experience. Other major acts included MONSTA X and HxW—Seventeen members Hoshi and Woozi—who also participated in Dream Stage collaborations across the weekend, creating special moments of connection between idols and fans.
The full performance roster balanced veteran talent with rising stars. Alongside Jackson Wang and NCT 127, groups such as aespa, Monsta X, ZeroBaseOne, P1Harmony, IVE, NMIXX, izna, and Roy Kim took the stage. Multiple platforms—including the Artist Stage, X Stage, and M COUNTDOWN stage—hosted a rotation of performances, ensuring constant engagement throughout the venue. The X Stage, in particular, spotlighted emerging groups like 82MAJOR, NEWBEAT, and ifeye, emphasizing KCON’s mission to promote next-generation K‑Pop talent.
There were, however, a few lineup changes ahead of the event. KISS OF LIFE withdrew following public backlash related to cultural appropriation concerns. Additionally, VICTON’s Lim Sejun and A.C.E’s Kang Yuchan pulled out due to health-related issues. Despite these absences, the festival’s overall energy and fan enthusiasm remained high.
Beyond the performances, KCON LA 2025 featured an extensive convention experience. Attendees participated in meet-and-greets, fan engagement sessions, and themed areas that celebrated K‑Beauty, K‑Food, and fashion. Interactive panels and creative workshops allowed fans to deepen their connection with the K‑Pop industry and culture.
Recognizing its global fan base, KCON LA 2025 offered livestreaming for international audiences through a partnership with Amazon Music. Performances and exclusive content were broadcast on Prime Video and Twitch, allowing fans around the world to tune into the festivities in real time.
KCON LA 2025 reaffirmed its position as a premier event in the global K‑Pop calendar. By combining legacy acts like Jackson Wang and NCT 127 with innovative performances, immersive fan experiences, and access for international viewers, the festival celebrated both the longevity and evolution of K‑Pop. Even with last-minute lineup shifts, KCON delivered an unforgettable weekend that underscored the enduring power of Korean pop culture on a global stage.
