On September 1, 2025, global music icon Post Malone made a striking entry into the fashion world with the launch of his first clothing line, aptly named “Austin Post.” The debut collection was unveiled in Paris at the Hôtel de Bourdon – Maison Pozzo di Borgo, a venue steeped in history and once home to legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld. The runway presentation, titled “Season One: At First Light,” marked not only a new chapter in the rapper and singer’s career but also a unique fusion of his personal heritage and high-fashion sensibility.

The collection is a tribute to Malone’s Texas roots and the American Southwest’s enduring fashion influence. Drawing inspiration from Dallas western culture and ranch aesthetics, the designs incorporated traditional Americana elements such as denim, cowboy boots, turquoise embellishments, and wide-brimmed hats. The influence of Post Malone’s upbringing was visible throughout the show, with pieces that appeared as natural in a rodeo as they did in a Parisian fashion salon.

Outfits featured a range of Western silhouettes, from structured suede jackets and embroidered button-downs to distressed denim and rancher-style coats. One particularly notable ensemble paired a velvet jacket in a deep blue hue with loose-fitting jeans and a subtle touch of turquoise jewelry. Each look balanced ruggedness with sophistication, suggesting that the line was designed not merely for fashion-forward audiences, but for anyone drawn to the cultural richness of the American West.

The footwear for the collection was produced in collaboration with Lucchese Bootmaker, a Texas-based company known for crafting handmade cowboy boots. Their contribution added authenticity to the runway and further emphasized Malone’s intent to honor and elevate the style traditions of his home state. The boots, which ranged from classic barnwood tones to ornate, two-tone designs, became foundational to the collection’s visual identity.

The show reached its peak with a dramatic and unforgettable finale: a model riding a live horse onto the runway. Moments later, Post Malone emerged to close the show himself, dressed in light-wash denim and a cowboy hat, waving to an enthusiastic audience. It took place just ahead of Paris Fashion Week and coincided with Malone’s Paris performance for his ongoing “F-1 Trillion” world tour. While many celebrities have explored fashion branding in recent years, Post Malone’s approach feels uniquely earnest.
