S Club 7 is bringing back the nostalgia with an exciting reunion tour! The iconic British pop group, who made waves in the late ’90s and early 2000s, will reunite to mark their 25th anniversary. This announcement comes as a dream come true for fans who grew up dancing to their infectious hits.
Formed in 1998 by Spice Girls’ manager Simon Fuller, S Club 7 quickly became a household name. The group, made up of Tina Barrett, Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, Jon Lee, and Paul Cattermole, captured the hearts of millions with their catchy songs and upbeat energy. Hits like “Bring It All Back,” “S Club Party,” “Don’t Stop Movin’,” and “Reach” became anthems for the youth of the time. Their TV shows, S Club 7 in Miami and S Club 7 in L.A., further cemented their place in pop culture.
The reunion was announced on February 13, 2023, during a lively appearance on BBC’s The One Show. Rachel Stevens expressed the band’s excitement to be back on stage, saying, “We’re just so excited to get back out there and sing our hearts out.” Bradley McIntosh teased that fans could expect plenty of “nostalgia” at the reunion shows, promising to bring back the essence of the late ’90s. While they’re still deciding on the final setlist, Paul Cattermole confirmed that many of their classic bops will make an appearance.
S Club 7 enjoyed immense success during their peak years. Their debut single “Bring It All Back” topped the charts in 1999, and the group quickly became a symbol of ’90s pop. They went on to release several albums and continue to dominate the charts with their feel-good music. The band also enjoyed success on TV, starring in their own series which added to their widespread fame.
However, after Paul Cattermole’s departure in 2002, the group continued with six members under the name S Club and released their fourth album, Seeing Double. Eventually, they took a hiatus but continued to perform as S Club Allstars during the break. The reunion happened in 2014 for a charity performance, followed by a U.K. tour supporting the re-release of their greatest hits.
Now, for their 25th anniversary, the group is returning to the stage to celebrate their musical legacy. They promise an unforgettable show filled with fun, music, and a vibrant celebration of friendship. “Music and friendship have always been at the core of everything that we’ve ever done,” the group shared in their official statement, inviting fans to join them for a “big party.”
