Sutton Stracke, known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is setting the record straight after fans questioned the future of her boutique, which has appeared on the show multiple times.
Explaining the ‘For Lease’ Sign
Fans were left puzzled when a “for lease” sign was spotted outside Stracke’s eponymous clothing store last month. On the September 4 episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, Stracke addressed the confusion and cleared up any concerns about her business.
“Avi is to blame,” Stracke, 52, joked, referring to her assistant Avi Gabay, who frequently appears on RHOBH. “I was out of town,” she explained, before adding with a laugh, “I didn’t pay my rent, so they kicked me out.”
Changes in Her Business Model
Stracke went on to reveal that the store’s operation is evolving. “I have expanded and don’t need my storefront anymore,” she said. “All my inventory has been put on a pallet and it’s being shipped to Houston.”
However, Stracke clarified that she hasn’t completely shut down the business. She still maintains a small unit at the back of the store, which will be available for private appointments. “I’ll have my samples there so that you can come by appointment only,” she added.
Sutton Stracke’s Return to RHOBH
Despite changes in her business, Stracke’s place on RHOBH remains solid. She’ll be back for the highly anticipated season 14, which is expected to premiere this fall. Stracke will be joined by her close friend Garcelle Beauvais, as well as Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and newcomer Bozoma Saint John. Sutton’s friend, actress Jennifer Tilly, will also appear as a “friend” this season, and Kathy Hilton returns in a similar role.
A New Season of RHOBH
In an interview earlier this year, Stracke teased that fans could expect an “explosive” new season. “There’s a lot of us that are going through many tumultuous things in our lives,” she said, hinting at the drama to come.
Stracke also reflected on her growth throughout her time on the show, noting, “I feel like this is the strongest I’ve been on the show.” She emphasized the personal growth she’s experienced, particularly after her divorce, and how she has evolved as both a businesswoman and a friend.
As Sutton embarks on this new chapter, both in her business and on RHOBH, fans can expect plenty of excitement when the new season kicks off.
